Donegal asked to support World MS Day 2011

MS Ireland, the services, research and information society for people with multiple sclerosis, is calling on people in Donegal to support World MS Day 2011 on Wednesday May 25th 2011. Log onto the website www.ms-society.ie to find out more about: creating awareness with ‘Your MS Story’; a new collaboration with The University of Limerick; the launch of a range of information booklets; and local events taking place near you, all for World MS Day 2011.

The Society is also delighted to announce the support of An Taoiseach Enda Kenny for World MS Day 2011. The Taoiseach will address a fundraising event for the MS Care Centre in The Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin at the close of a week’s activities for World MS Day. Tickets are still available by calling 01 678 1600.

On World MS Day 2011 MS Ireland will also announce an exciting new initiative. The initiative will launch together with a celebrity chef and top brand. All will be revealed on Wednesday May 25th. Funds raised this year will go directly into Local Services and the MS CareCentre, Ireland’s only dedicated respite and therapy centre for people with MS across the country.
