A 3km candle lit walk to remember those who have been loved and lost cancer, to celebrate with those who have recovered from cancer and to walk with those who are still on their journey through cancer will be held on Friday, March 30 in Sligo.
The walk will be from Connaughton Road car park (also known as Higgins car park), the Mall, Sligo. Participants are invited to meet from 8pm and the walk to start at 8:30pm sharp.
‘Light the Night Sligo’ LED Candles €10 are available from Sligo Cancer Support Centre,
44 Wine St. Sligo.
The organisers will welcome all ages and abilities; however anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult. The Candle Walk route is paved offering a good surface for wheelchairs.
