The Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay Cloch Cheann Fhaola campaign is taking part in Saturday’s local INTO march against education cuts to support opposition to austerity policies.

The INTO march is scheduled to assemble at 12 noon on Saturday, Feb. 25th, at the NUI Galway Acadamh in the Gaoth Dobhair Business Park.

The local protest, organised by the Gaoth Dobhair and Cloích Cheann Fhaola branch of the Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO), was scheduled to coincide with similar protests being held around the country.

Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay Cloch Cheann Fhaola, which opposes the government’s household, septic tank and water charges, will also continue their own weekly protests at 12 noon on Fridays at the Falcarragh crossroads. Campaign organisers asked participants to bring non-political posters.

Due to Saturday’s march against education cuts, the next Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay Cloch Cheann Fhaola organising meeting will be in Óstán Loch Altan at 1pm on Saturday, March 3rd.
