World MS Day takes place on the 30th of May and we are inviting the people of Co. Donegal to get involved in local and national activities.

On the 30th in MS Ireland’s North West Regional Office, Letterkenny, Co Donegal at 11.30am, there will be a Coffee and Shaking Buckets event to mark World MS Day. This event finishes at 5pm. All welcome! Money raised at this event will be spent on individual and family support services, counseling, and physiotherapy and exercise programmes for people with MS in the North-West Region.

This is one of many events Multiple Sclerosis Ireland has taking place around the country to raise awareness, raise the issues and raise funds for people with MS. There are also some national events people can get involved in; write a letter to your newly diagnosed self, lobby your local TD’s for better access to treatments for people with MS, or organise a McVitie’s Digestives Tea Party in your home, community or workplace to raise funds for local services to people with MS. Text World, followed by your first name, to 51565 for a fundraising pack today.

For further information call the Regional Office on (074) 9125017or email northwest@ms-society.ie. Alternatively, visit the MS Ireland website www.ms-society.ie.
