The countdown is on for the Drimarone Schools’ Gathering which takes from Friday, 2nd August to Monday 5th August.
The opening is on Friday night with Mass in Church of Holy Redeemer, Drimarone at 8 p.m.
Buffet served immediately afterwards in Bluestack Centre. Admission is 5 euro.
Dance to suit all ages from 10.30 to 1 p.m. (approx)

Saturday 3rd August
Exhibition of local memorabilia in Bluestack Centre from 12 noon.
Local Walk with Bluestack Ramblers (route yet to be decided)
Bus Tour of local area including Drimkeelan Quarry and otehr places of interest concluding at Dysert Graveyard with Rosary.
Bus leaving Bluestack Centre at 1 p.m. (bookings will be taken for this tour later)
One Act Play in Bluestack Centre, written by Gerry (Folksy) Meehan, Drimarone, at 8 p.m. followed by Comhaltas Night and Ceili Morat 9 p.m. Supper served.
Music by local Comhaltas branch, songs and recitations with local talent.
Graveyard Mass will take place on Sunday while other activities for Sunday and Mondayhave to be decided and will be dependant on Donegal’s involvement in the All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-finals.
