The Ulster Marching Bands Association once again hosted the All Ireland Marching Bands finals on Sunday in Bundoran.
Despite a small turnout of bands, all participants enjoyed their day out at Ireland’s premiere seaside resort.
Judged on a combination of their marching drill and music choice, six bands from Donegal and Northern Ireland competed for a raft of trophies and different category prizes.
Overall winners on the day were the St Miguel band from Downpatrick who clinched the “Best Overall Band” title. Bands taking part on the day included the Community Youth Band from Letterkenny, the Fanad Accordion Band, St Miguel Band Downpatrick, Ramelton Town Band and St Crona’s Dungloe. The judges were Sean Campbell, Francis Rafferty and Ailsing Cavanagh.
