The funeral of Bridie Quinlivan of 44 College Park, Letterkenny, took place on Saturday following her sudden passing at her residence on Wednesday.
Aged just 60 years, she was a former and popular member of the household staff at Letterkenny General Hospital.
Her brother, Fr. Willie Peoples, P.P. Donegal Town, was the chief celebrant at her funeral mass in St. Eunan’s College Cathedral. He was assisted by fifteen other clerics from the locality and beyond.
Family members read the lessons and the Prayers of the Faithful and also conveyed the Offertory Gifts. Organist was Jim Mailey and soloist was Carmel O’Reilly.
The late Mrs. Quinlivan is survived by her sons, Michael (Kilkenny) and Patrick; daughters, Tara, Shauna and Kate, and their father, Mick; her mother, Mary Peoples, Mount Marian, Milford; brothers, Fr. Willie and John, and sister, Una Donoghue; grandchildren, and other relatives and friends to whom sincerest sympathy is extended.
She was laid to rest in Conwal cemetery.
