Dinny McGinley, TD, minister of state for the Gaeltacht at the department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Affairs (pictured), has welcomed the allocation of 23,400 euro for animal welfare in Donegal.#

Simon Coveney, TD, minister for agriculture, marine and food, has sanctioned a grant of 21,000 euro for the Animals in Need Centre in Donegal town and 2,400 euro for the Donegal Donkey Sanctuary in Raphoe.

“It is important that we do our utmost in providing the best care for animals in our county,” Minister McGinley said.
