St Michael’sManagers: Cathal Sweeney and Raymond McLaughlinLast year championship: Semi-finalists in SFC, before losing to St Eunan’sLast year AFCL: Finished third in Division 1.First three opponents: 2/4 Gaoth Dobhair away, 10/4 St Eunan’s away, 16/4 byeProspects: Last year was a peculiar one for the Dunfanaghy-based side, who started with Kevin Cookie Gallagher in charge before he stepped away and made a return to his native Dowings. Daniel McLaughlin was thrust into the manager’s hot seat and despite all, fared reasonably well with a third placed finish in Division 1 and Donegal SFC semi-final spot. Star man: Carlos O’Reilly.

KilcarManager: Conor CunninghamLast year championship: Defeated by Naomh Conaill in semi-finalLast year ACFL: Finished in fourth place in Division 1First three opponents: 3/4 Aodh Ruadh home; 9/4 Bundoran away; 16/4 Termon homeProspects: With a new man in charge, the south-west side will still remain one of the teams to watch. Would have been disappointed at their fade-out last year but with only two players on the county panel now, they will be challenging for top spot in the league.Star man: Andrew McClean
