Last year's four divisions were cut short due to the pandemic before relegation was decided so for 2022 things have been realigned into three - Divisions 1 and 3 have 13 teams and there are 14 in Division 2

MilfordManager: Pauric CurleyLast year championship: Managed to get out of the relegation play-off at the first time of asking with a 1-15 to 1-7 win over Bundoran.Last year AFCL: Seventh in Division 2First three opponents: 2/4 MacCumhaill’s home, 9/4 Dungloe away, 16/4 Naomh Columba home. Prospects: With Shaun Paul Barrett stepping aside Milford appointed Pauric Curley to take charge of senior panel affairs in the close season. They were in the promotion hunt last term before the league ended prematurely and acquitted themselves reasonably well in the Donegal SFC, managing to sidestep the complexities of the relegation play-off with their young side.Star man: Rory O’Donnell

Naomh ColumbaManager: Paddy J McGinleyLast year championship: Lost out to Dungloe in IFC semi-finalLast year's ACFL: Finished eighth in Division 2First three opponents: 3/4 Letterkenny Gaels away; 9/4 St Naul's home; 16/4 Milford awayProspects: McGinley is back on board and has taken over from Pauric O'Donnell and the main target will be the IFC. However, with the input of a number of young players, the Glen men will be hoping for league success and the chance to make the top flight.Star man: Eric Carr

Na DunaibhManager: Kevin 'Cookie' GallagherLast year championship: Won the Donegal JFC crown and made the Ulster JFC finalLast year's ACFL: Ninth in Division 2First three opponents: 2/4 Malin away; 9/4 St Mary's, Convoy home; 16/4 Gaeil Fhánada awayProspects: After a great finish to the year, this will be a more difficult prospect for the Rosguill peninsula residents. Kevin Gallagher took over in September of last year having first been with St Michael’s and they went on a great championship run. Will have to work the oracle again for the league.Star man: Lorcan Connor

Flirted with relegation until Peter Blake saved to say against Naomh Ultan in Glenfin to keep their status having won the JFC impressively in 2020.Star man: Paddy Dolan
