Donegal motorsport community gears up for 2024 club championship awards night

St Eunan’s GAA clubhouse to host a celebration of a thrilling season, with awards, special guests, and recognition for competitors and volunteers
The 2024 Donegal Commercial Vehicles Club Championship will culminate in a special awards night on Saturday, February 22, celebrating a fantastic and intense year of motorsport across the county.
The event will take place at St Eunan’s GAA Clubhouse at 7:30pm, with Highland Radio’s Oisín Kelly and regular event compère Chris Fair set to host the evening.
A range of awards will be presented in recognition of the outstanding performances throughout the season, which began in March 2023 with the March Navigation Trial in Termon.
Competitors battled through a packed calendar, including the prestigious three-day Donegal International Rally, both days of the renowned Knockalla Hill Climb, the Donegal Harvest Stages, and concluding with the October Navigation Trial, marking the final event of the season.
It has been an extremely busy and competitive year, with many club members also vying for national, international, and junior championships. The dedication of volunteers has been instrumental in making these events possible, and their contributions will also be acknowledged on the night.
All motorsport enthusiasts are warmly invited to join the celebrations on Saturday night, where there will be finger food, special guests, and an opportunity to reflect on another hugely successful year of motorsport in Donegal.
