Cruit Island celebrated their 40th anniversary last weekend with a special dinner dance. 40 years have come and gone, and many changes over the years. Many of the great people who made Cruit what it is, are gone to their rest too. We will never stop saying thank you to them all.
We had a very enjoyable dinner dance at Caislean Oir on Saturday night and although very stormy, it was nothing more than we have seen very often at Cruit Island.
A big thank you to all at Caislean Oir a fantastic meal and friendly staff, with James and Anita keeping an eye on everything.
Thank you to the band, Hard to Beat, who gave a lively performance and to all who made the night the special night it was.
A presentation was made to our trustees and we had a few little stories of events over the last 40 years.
