1.
Gavin Mulreany (St Naul’s): The Parish of Inver club may have got relegated but Mulreany ended up as their top scorer in the championship. He was also one of the most consistent shot stoppers throughout. Finished just outside the top 20 scorers and many teams would love to have him in their lineup. Honourable mentions: Padraig Mac Giolla Bhride (Gaoth Dobhair); Danny Rodgers (Dungloe)

2.
Ultan Doherty (Naomh Conaill): Doherty was a massive miss for Naomh Conaill in 2024 as they lost in the quarters, but his return this year proved how important he is to their cause. Often tasked with marking the opposition's liveliest forward, Doherty was rarely bettered.

3.
Gary McFadden (Gaoth Dobhair): Under the new playing rules, McFadden didn’t buckle as he put impressive shackles on the likes of Oisin Gallen, Patrick McBrearty and Carlos O’Reilly en route to the SFC decider. As good a man-marker that’s out there in Donegal football.Honourable mention: Dylan Kennedy (Four Masters)

4.
Kevin McGettigan (Naomh Conaill): McGettigan has been crucial to Naomh Conaill’s cause as they again stand as Donegal SFC title winners. He nailed three championship goals from defence including crucial green flags in both their semi-final win over Four Masters and their decider victory against Gaoth Dobhair.
