Home draw for Finn Harps in the FAI Cup second round

Finn Harps have been drawn at home to Bray Wanderers in the second round of the Club Orange Men’s FAI Cup.

Kevin McHugh’s side will welcome the Wicklow men to Finn Park on the week ending July 19.

The pair met in the last 16 in last year’s competition, with the Harps winning 3-1 at home thanks to goals from Josh Cullen, Max Hutchison and Hans Mpongo, before they lost out to Cork City in the quarter-final.

The Finn Harps Women’s team have also been drawn at home for the second round, should they advance.

Dessie McGlinchey’s side will take on Whitehall Rangers away from home on the weekend of June 14 in the preliminary round.

Should they win that game, they will face Ballingarry or Douglas Hall in pairing 4.

And if they win that round, they will be into the second round, where they would face one of Cobh Ramblers/St Patrick’s Athletic vs Dundalk/CK United.
