Where are they now? The first Donegal panel to take Sam to the Hills in 1992

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the first time ever back on September 20, 1992, when Brian McEniff's team overcame Dublin on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-14 at Croke Park

 

Brian Murray
Won four Donegal county minor championships on the bounce with Aodh Ruadh from 1979 to 1982 and captained Donegal to the Ulster Minor League in 1982, two years before making his senior debut. Was a member of the Civil Service club in Dublin in 1992.. Was a member of An Garda Síochána for 36 years before retiring in 2021, where he was based mainly in Kilmainham, and lives in Kilcock, Co Kildare. Murray is games promotion officer at Clane GAA.
