First involved in 1989 in the Ulster SFC under Tom Conaghan, the Glenties native, was a carpenter who often worked in Dublin, where he won the Dublin Senior League with Civil Service. A wind turbine engineer who often works in Scotland. His three sons played underage for Donegal - Jamie, Mark and Kieran.
