Where are they now? The first Donegal panel to take Sam to the Hills in 1992

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the first time ever back on September 20, 1992, when Brian McEniff's team overcame Dublin on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-14 at Croke Park

The first man to captain Donegal to an All-Ireland win, Molloy accepted the Sam Maguire from President Mary Robinson and declared “Sam’s for the Hills”. From Leamagowra, Glengesh, Molloy played 123 times for Donegal between 1982, when he won an All-Ireland U-21 Championship, and 1994. Managed the Donegal minors to Ulster success in 1996 and was also a three-time Ulster SFC winner. A Fianna Fáil councillor in the Glenties MD.
