Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The Malin defender featured against Tyrone, Down and Cork in the 2012 championship, having won Ulster previously at minor in 2006 and U-21 in 2010. Initially came into the senior panel in 2008 under Brian McIver. Played championship up to 2015. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, where he is now chief operating officer, in 2022, he held senior leadership roles at a global insurance company, delivering major projects across the United States, Spain, and Portugal. Played with Doohamlat in Monaghan, where he now lives, until three years ago.
