The elder of the three McGee brothers was recalled to the Donegal panel in April 2011 by Jim McGuinness and was shortlisted for man-of-the-match in the All-Ireland final
Living in Letterkenny and employed in Optum as an Application Analyst, McGee is a columnist with the Irish Daily Star and does GAA punditry elsewhere. Part of the Buncrana backroom team under manager Gary Duffy.
