Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The Glenswilly midfielder’s brilliant performance against Cork in the 2012 All-Ireland SFC semi-final was one of the standout memories of the campaign. First brought into the Donegal senior panel under Brian McEniff, Gallagher captained the team under Brian McIver to the Allianz League Division 1 crown in 2007. Won three Donegal SFC titles, the 2012 All-Ireland and three Ulster SFC crowns. Retired from inter-county in 2017. The engineer at Donegal County Council and partner in Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is involved in Glenswilly’s underage structure.
