Seven things: Wildlife sanctuaries around the county

Donegal is home to a diverse landscape which hosts ten nature reserves displaying a significantly varied range of wildlife and natural habitat such as woodlands and wetlands

Errigal View Pet Zoo
Established in 2015, Errigal View Pet Zoo is a family-run business which is located behind An Chúirt Hotel, Gweedore. Errigal View Pet Zoo began as a petting zoo with small animals but has since grown into a mini zoo which hosts animals of various sizes.

Currently, Errigal View is home to llamas, alpacas, emus, racoons, ponies, meerkats, ducks, wallabies, deer, goats, rabbits, pheasants and much much more! Errigal View Pet Zoo gives visitors an interactive experience, allowing visitors to view and pet some of the unusual animals and also give the option to feed them. It is a suitable place for all ages and also has facilities for crazy golf on site.
