Johnny McGroddy (Downings)
Donegal U-20’s main source of scores last season, McGroddy came off the bench on Sunday to kick a score with his first touch of the ball with the seniors. A third year Arts student at DCU, he has helped his club side, Downings, from Division 4 to the top flight of the All-County Football League this term. Scored a magic winning goal direct from a free-kick with the last kick of the game to win the Division 2 final against Malin last year.
