What next? A history of when Donegal go on the rebound

After relegation from Division 1, Donegal's recent history in the championship that followed is unpredictable to say the least. Here's how they fared out in years gone by

Donegal were relegated from Division 1 of the National League for the fifth time this season and the formline is uncertain heading into their Ulster SFC opener against Down in Newry on Sunday week.

Manager Paddy Carr was gone after six games, when Aidan O'Rourke taking charge in Roscommon and for the championship to come. If the previous four are anything to go on, it’s difficult to know what the championship might bring as Donegal have both flourished and floundered following relegation.
