The only one of Donegal’s starting forwards not to score from play. Thompson was well marked by Ciaran Mackin and couldn’t escape his grasp. However, the Naomh Conaill did reappear off the bench after being subbed and assisted Jason McGee with his point, while also superbly converting his penalty in the shootout. 5.5
