Daniel McCauley’s side got the better of Tara 4-10 to 0-8 at Ruislip in London on Sunday in their rearranged All-Ireland JFC quarter-final, with the original fixture falling foul of a waterlogged pitch in December. This came after a dramatic Ulster final at Celtic Park, where Naomh Padraig pipped Craigbane from Derry 3-7 to 1-12. Next up, it’s all off to Dublin and Parnell Park for Sunday’s All-Ireland JFC semi-final against Kilmurry of Cork.
The only other Donegal side to reach an All-Ireland club final was St Michael’s in the IFC in 2004, with St Joseph’s, Glenfin, Red Hughs, Naomh Colmcille and Gaoth Dobhair all having won provincial titles down the years.
