Donegal have a proud record at MacCumhaill Park in recent years, having not lost a league fixture at the Ballybofey ground since 2010, when Down were winners in Division 2. In that same timeframe, Donegal lost in the championship only to Down, in 2010, and then Tyrone in the Super Eights in 2018.
