Donegal have a 12-year unbeaten league record in Ballybofey on the line against Tyrone

The last visiting team to win at MacCumhaill Park in the league was Down, back on March 13, 2010

Opening night saw Mayo in Ballybofey and Donegal looked set for victory, three up in injury time only for James Durcan to fire a goal for the visitors in injury-time for a 0-19 to 2-13 draw. Victory over Monaghan in Ballybofey meant Donegal had five points from their first five in early March before the coronavirus pandemic called a halt to a lot more than the Allianz League. When the competition resumed, MacCumhaill was an echoey place as Donegal overcame 13-man Tyrone to confirm their survival, with Kieran McGeary and Ronan Brennan sent off the visitors. Peadar Mogan and Jamie Brennan scored Donegal’s goals on the day. (18)
