2017 - Division 1
Dublin, with two All-Ireland crowns on the bounce, looked under pressure in a marshy MacCumhaill Park, with two goals in 40 seconds towards the end of the first half making for a 2-2 to 0-5 lead for the home side. Jason McGee and Ryan McHugh found the net. However, Jim Gavin’s team got in front in the second half with Niall Scully a goalscorer only for Michael Murphy to pinch a draw, 2-5 to 1-8. Then, on a woeful night, Tyrone were beaten 0-12 to 0-6 at county headquarters with Ciaran Thompson kicking three fine scores. Donegal ended the campaign in third place, although the semi-finals by then had been dropped. (13)
