Donegal Senior Football Championship: club-by-club guide

The Donegal SFC throws in on Saturday evening with 16 sides competing for the Dr Maguire Cup which was won by St Eunan's in 2021

St Eunan's
Manager: Rory Kavanagh
Last year’s championship: Defeated Naomh Conaill to win the Donegal SFC crown
This year’s AFCL: Fourth in Division 1
First two opponents: St Naul’s home, Bundoran away
Prospects: Very impressive winners of the final last year, having not been overly outstanding on their way there. Difficult to look at a reasonable Division 1 campaign for any clues of their progress but have now honed in on their plans for SFC retention. Both St Naul’s and Bundoran caused Rory Kavanagh’s side bother for spells last year although it’s difficult not to see St Eunan’s easing through to the last eight and their panel and experience provides a huge foundation to work off from there.
Star man: Shane O’Donnell
