Donegal Senior Football Championship: club-by-club guide

The Donegal SFC throws in on Saturday evening with 16 sides competing for the Dr Maguire Cup which was won by St Eunan's in 2021

St Naul's
Manager: Brian McCabe, Patrick Burke and Brendan McCready
Last year championship: Made last eight of SFC for first time ever
This year’s AFCL: Bottom, 13th, of Division 2
First two opponents: St Eunan’s away, Glenswilly home
Prospects: After the highs of last season, where the Mountcharles side got to the last eight of the SFC for the first time ever, this year has so far been unforgiving, with just one win and 12 losses in Division 2. With Gavin Mulreany currently on the books of Finn Harps, Stephen Griffin suspended following his red card against St Eunan’s last year and the draw as tough as it could’ve been, St Naul’s have a considerable job on their hands and might be looking down more than up as they seek consolidation. Much will depend on Glenswilly in game two.
Star man: Peadar Mogan
