Olympic Recognition
Honouring the unprecedented Donegal links with the Olympic Games in Tokyo last summer that included four competitors, two managers, a coach and a sports nutritionist. Brendan Boyce, Eilish Flanagan, Mark English, Mona McSharry all competed; Teresa McDaid was Irish team operations manager, Daniel Magee was Badminton Team Lead; Michael Black was triathlon coach while Dr. Sharon Madigan was the Head Nutritionist.
Due to high performance training and competition commitments unfortunately Brendan, Eilish, Mark, Mona, Daniel and Michael weren't able to be with us.
But Teresa McDaid and Siobhan Madigan were present along with Joe English and Samuel Magee, who accepted the awards on behalf of their sons Mark and Daniel respectively. And Finn Valley AC’s Patsy McGonagle represented Eilish Flanagan while Desmond was there for his son Michael as were Mandy and Margaret Boyce who accepted awards on behalf of their son Brendan
