Olympic Recognition: Michael Black
Michael Black is a well known figure in local athletics for a number years before moving into and up the coaching ladder that reached a new high when he went to Tokyo with the Irish Triathlon team last summer.
He is a qualified National coach with Triathlon Ireland since 2009. Michael has worked with a variety of athletes at national, junior development and senior international level. His current roles are National Development Manager and High Performance coach. Michael is currently with the Irish team at the 2022 Europe Triathlon Championships in Poland.
