The show, now an established summer event in the resort, was hosted by the Bundoran RNLI and again it lived up to its name, with an amazing array of vintage and classic car models on display.

Organised by Bundoran RNLI, the show was a spectacular display of vintage automobiles, with cars pre-dating 1992.

Daimon Fergus, Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager, one of the event organisers said: ‘'The Vintage Car Show has been a staple in the community for years, attracting visitors from near and far with its impressive line-up of classic cars.

"It's not just about the cars; it's about community spirit and supporting a good cause. This year, all proceeds from the event will go to Bundoran RNLI, powering our volunteers' lifesaving work at sea.'

The RNLI is celebrating 200 years of saving lives this year. Locally, the RNLI is marking 30 years of service in Bundoran, while the community is celebrating 50 years of having a lifesaving service based in the community.

Meanwhile, World Drowning Prevention Day takes place Thursday, July 25 and as part of that day, a free online webinar is available for all GAA clubs from 7.30-8.30pm.
