The rain held off and there was a fantastic atmosphere as the Ballyshannon Carnival Parade took place on Saturday evening. There were pirates, marching bands, samba band, and a wonderful community effort, making for a great evening's entertainment for the hundreds of people who took to the street to enjoy the spectacle.
