In Pictures: Say Yes To My Dress a huge sucess for Donegal charities

Say Yes To My Dress held at the Abbey Hotel in Say Yes To My Dress held at the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town, was a fabulous evening dedicated to raising funds for local charities, Donegal Town Community Hospital, Hospice Care Unit, Solace Donegal Cancer Support Centre, and St Francis National School’s Sensory Unit. A fantastic total of around €35,000 was raised, with the final figure to be confirmed.

Combining fashion and generosity, the night featured the sale of hundreds of pre-loved dresses, a glamorous fashion show MC'd by Noel Cunningham and Ireland AM's Mandy Maher, an exciting charity auction with everything from shoes donated by SJP, a helicopter ride over Donegal Bay and a dress donated by award winning Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, live entertainment from the Irish Tenors and over 40 raffle prizes. 

The last 'Say Yes To My Dress' took place in 2017 in the Abbey Hotel also. The organising committee would like to thank everyone who bought tickets and supported the event, to all the sponsors who donated the raffle prizes and to the volunteers who helped out on the night.
