In Pictures: Honorary Garda Jason Brady turns on Donegal Town Christmas lights

Despite the weather, there was a fantastic turnout for the big switch-on in Donegal Town

The Christmas lights in Donegal Town were switched on by Little Blue Hero Honorary Garda 8 year old Jason Brady and Santa Claus on Wednesday evening, December 4. The rain didn't dampen the spirits of the large crowd that attended. Donegal Abbey Singers entertained those gathered.

Presentations wee made to the Best Dressed Windows Displays. Large window display winner was Tríona Design and the small best window display was Coast Contemporary Furniture.

Ernan McGettigan MC welcomed Santa onto the Diamond. He was accompanied by Rudolph, Frosty the Snowmen, Elves, the Ice King and Queen and helpers from the Soilse Light team.
