The club expressed heartfelt congratulations to all our award winners from the night and a special thank you to the Downings Bay Hotel and their staff for their exceptional food and service as always.
The evening began with Chairperson Stephen Shevlin welcoming everyone he took a moment to reflect on the achievements both on and off the pitch over the past year, expressing gratitude to our club members and volunteers for their unwavering dedication to the club's growth with a special mention to the Senior Ladies Team, our 2024 All Ireland Finalists.
The night was expertly hosted by Enda McClafferty of BBC, with special guests Donegal LGFA Chairperson Joanne McKinney and Uachtarán CLG, Jarlath Burns.
The club were thrilled to induct John Mhici Rua into our Hall of Fame, a truly deserving recipient. Heartwarming stories and memories were shared, highlighting John's remarkable dedication and contributions to the club over the years.
"It was great to have John, Nuala and all their family present with us," the club said. "The 1995 Senior Ladies team also joined us. It was wonderful to see such a great turnout from this team and we extend our gratitude to all who travelled to be with us."

The club also recognised special contributions with awards for Kevin "Cookie" Gallagher and Seami Mc Bride for their efforts with the Helicopter Ball Drop; Catriona Friel for her dedication to capturing photos and memories throughout the year.
Congratulations to our Donegal Player Award recipients: Patrick Mc Elwee, Ronan Gallagher, Shannon McGroddy, and Aoibhinn O’Connell. They celebrated our All-Star winners Charlie Shevlin and Shannon Mc Groddy and acknowledged our Sigerson Cup winners, Johnny Mc Groddy and Ronan Gallagher - their first Sigerson winners in the club.
A special recognition went to Tanya Roberts Browne for her appointment as National Chairperson of GAA for All by Jarlath Burns. The Paddy Fenny Memorial Award for Club Person of the Year was awarded to Eoin Byrne. Eoin was recognised for his amazing work over the last number of years in the club.
"Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the evening," the club added. "We also appreciate all our speakers, club sponsors, and a special thanks to Brendan 'Tiny; Vaughan for capturing the wonderful moments of the night and DJ John Bosco for helping us dance the night away."
