On a stunning summer morning at the Letterkenny Rovers pitch, members and supporters formed a giant “60” to commemorate six decades of Letterkenny Chamber. The event reflected the spirit of collaboration and pride that has defined the Chamber since its founding in 1965.

Speaking at the event, Chamber President Jimmy Stafford said: “This event is about recognising our members, past and present, and the incredible business community that makes up Letterkenny Chamber Membership. Having grown from humble beginnings we now represent 320 members across the region and we are delighted to be able to celebrate that achievement with our business community. As we look to the future, we remain committed to supporting members and the wider business community to even greater success.”

Members were welcomed to the pitch by Donna McConnell, Letterkenny Rovers who kindly provided refreshments and after the hard work of creating the 60 they were treated to goodie bags sponsored by Freshtoday School Lunches, complete with a voucher for local nearby coffee shop Bloem, not forgetting the fantastic cake from O’Hehir’s Bakery & Cafe.

Speaking at the event, Toni Forrester, Chamber CEO, reflected: “We started our 60th celebrations with a tree planting event in February, we are now delighted to have been able to bring members together to create and mark our 60 years and we look forward to more celebratory activities as the year progresses”.
