Fifteen ladies from around the world have been selected for this year’s Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival, with the winner to be crowned early next month. Please use the arrows to view more pictures and learn about the Marys
The festival will run from Friday, July 26, until Sunday, August 4. Now in its 58th year, the festival offers a wide variety of activities catering to all ages, from live music, entertainment, sporting, artistic and novelty events all on the programme.
Over the 10 days, the participating ladies will wear their various sashes representing New York, Dungloe, Donegal, Birmingham, London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Wild Atlantic Way, Connacht, United Arab Emirates, Philadelphia, Gaeltacht, Ulster and Glasgow
The winner, crowned 'Mary From Dungloe', holds the title for a year and acts as an ambassador for the festival, Dungloe and Donegal. Last year’s winner was Donegal Mary Clare O’Donnell.
