Edinburgh: Maria O’Donnell
Originally from Annagry, Co. Donegal, Maria grew up in a close-knit family of six and has strong ties to Gweedore. The Edinburgh Mary completed a Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills at Errigal College, which laid the foundation for her journey into healthcare.
She relocated to Scotland to study at the University of Stirling and is now employed as an acute care nurse. Maria’s connection to Edinburgh is a personal one; her grandmother once moved there for work as a young woman. Now living in Scotland, she has embraced its culture and community, and cherishes the strong bond that exists between Ireland and Scotland.
