The event took place on Sunday, July 27 at 12 noon, leaving plenty of time for everyone to get home - or up to the Diamond - to watch the All Ireland.
These events take place all around the world. They are a celebration of Kate Bush and the iconic music video which is recreated by those taking part. The Donegal Town event was also a fundraiser for Women's Aid.
No dancing skills were required - all that was asked was that people wore red and made a donation to Woman’s Aid.
There was a wonderful feeling of fun and camaraderie and everyone did their best to follow the expert, patient, guidance of teacher Emma Warren. And there was a great sense of achievement as everyone gave it their all for the final cut.
Organisers Niamh Coughlan and Eileen McGonigle were delighted with the support, with around €1,000 raised to date for Women’s Aid. They wish to thank Emma Warren, Donegal Tourist Office, Jonathan Kennedy for the PA, and everyone who took part or contributed in any way.
It is hoped that this will become an annual event, building on the success of the inaugural Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever Donegal.
The online fundraising page remains open until August 26. Anyone who could not make it on the day and who would like to donate can do so at www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/wuthering
