A video was captured of the Christmas lights in Milford as they were switched on
The video of the display was taken by Proinsias Carr and shared on social media.
Councillor for the Milford Electoral Area Declan Meehan expressed his delight for those who got involved and attended the annual event.
“What a fantastic evening in Milford for the turning on of the Christmas Lights!” Meehan said. “A huge congratulations and thank you to both the Milford Community Events Committee and the Milford Christmas Lights Committee!
“Thank you also to the Letterkenny & District Pipe Band, the Milford Community Choir, and all the kids who took part! Well done to everyone who took part! Great to see hundreds of people on Milford Main Street.”
Milford District & Resource Centre will hold a Christmas fundraising quiz on Thursday at 8pm in the Traveller’s Inn.
