Luke Barrett and his team made a wining start to the Ulster U-17 League thanks to a 2-13 to 0-7 success over Fermanagh at the Donegal Training Centre in Convoy.
It's early days of course, although Donegal can be content enough with their first day at the office and his team will look now at next week's fixture in Cavan.
"We are targeting a good performance and it was nice to get the 60 minutes into the players," Barrett said. "We can improve on it. At times we were excellent and at times we were pedestrian. There was some horrific conditions over the last couple of weeks so I'd say the boys didn't know what to do with themselves this morning waking up with no wind and no rain."
