Watch: Energy and camaraderie at Clement Gallagher memorial charity céilí

The event is a fundraiser for St Joseph's Cancer Ward and Inis Aoibhinn at Galway University Hospital

A stalwart of the céilí dancing community, Clement Gallagher is being remembered in the most fitting way - with a big céilí in aid of charities which benefit many cancer sufferers in Donegal. 

Hundreds of dancers have come together in the Highlands Hotel in Glenties on Sunday afternoon for the céilí, with music provided by the fantastic Duntally Céilí Band.

There is a lively atmosphere and lots of camaraderie as dancers take to the floor with great energy and enthusiasm as they remember Clement and all that he did to promote the joy of céilí dancing.
