A video of a Donegal woman who was surprised with her dream car for her 40th (Ruby) wedding anniversary has gone viral on video-sharing platform TikTok.
The heartwarming video shows Bernie being met by her husband Cathal who presents her with the papers to say she is the new owner of the Citroen 2CV parked in front of the Letterkenny Shopping Centre. She is visibly overcome with emotion as she gets into her new car for the first time.
The back of the car is customised with the words ‘Ruby, Bernie 1985 Cathal’.

The video was shared by the couple's daughter Niamhín and currently has over 1.4 million views and almost 250,000 likes.
