A Donegal native will front a new TG4 series - set to air next month.
Croí na Féile is a brand-new six-part series presented by TikTok star and 2FM presenter from Rann na Feirste, Hugh Carr.
Each week, Hugh travels across the country to visit some of Ireland’s most vibrant and passionate festivals.
But Hugh’s not just here for the craic; he must join the teams of fantastic volunteers without whom these cherished events wouldn’t happen. Hugh gets sunburnt, soaked and run ragged and gets a unique insight into the magic and mayhem that makes each and every gathering extra special.
Croí na Féile visits Belfast for Ireland’s largest multi-cultural fusion of food, music and arts at the weeklong Mela. In Kinvara, they celebrate Cruinniú na mBád on land and sea with Galway’s majestic Hookers. They crown cultural, artistic and sporting heroes at Feile na Loach in Cúil Aodha. They are at the action-packed Galway International Arts Festival. Hugh heads back home for Dorn san Aer in Gaoth Dobhair and it’s back to Belfast for Oireachtas na Samhna.
On his travels, Hugh meets hugely interesting, hardworking and creative people from all over Ireland, along with Kneecap, Stephen Rea, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Grooveline, Huartan, Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh and the President of Ireland, Catherine Connolly.

Hugh is a radio presenter, comedian, and voice actor. He has performed at festivals all around the country, including Electric Picnic, Féile na Gealaí, and Oireachtas na Samhna.
While this is Hugh's first foray into hosting, he's previously appeared on Téacs Taistil, Fadó Fadó, and on Cúla 4 programmes like Spongebob Squarepants and Cloch Páipéar Sciosúr. Hugh hosts Weekend Breakfast on RTÉ 2FM, and has previously hosted programmes on iRadio and Raidió Rí Rá.
Croí na Féile will be on Thursdays at 8pm from June 4 on TG4 and TG4.ie
