Coffee Morning in aid of the homeless to take place in Donegal Town
The event will run this Friday from 11am to 1pm at St Patrick’s Parish Centre, Donegal Town, and promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled with tea, coffee, treats, and great company
The Donegal Town Area Women’s Group is inviting the community to a special Coffee Morning in aid of the homeless on Friday, September 12.
The event will run from 11am to 1pm at St Patrick’s Parish Centre, Donegal Town, and promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled with tea, coffee, treats, and great company.
Attendees can also look forward to a raffle on the day, with all proceeds going towards two worthy causes - St Colmcille Hostel in Letterkenny and Lending Hands Dublin, both of which provide vital support to those experiencing homelessness.
The organisers are encouraging everyone to come along, enjoy a relaxing morning, and contribute whatever they can. Donations of any size are welcome, and every euro raised will go directly towards helping those most in need.
“Please come along and support," the mayor of Donegal Town, Anna Gallagher, says. "Homelessness is a reality that too many people in our community are facing. Every bit of support can make a difference."
