Very successful Secondary Schools' cross-country at Finn Valley

The annual event held in the grounds of Finn Valley A.C. was once again a tremendous success with 647 young students from 29 schools in the general area participating.
The invitation goes out to all local schools to come and try it and the momentum has been building year on year as sports teachers welcome the opportunity to get involved. Hence there was a mixture of competition and fun.
The two days of school athletics now in its 16th year attracted just short of 1,400 young people over the two events with the secondary school outing enjoying good weather which lent itself to a more relaxed approach.
Again Finn Valley A.C. members with the cooperation of teachers and parents delivered and excellent event. Forthcoming primary school opportunities are the Fastest Kid in Donegal, a project launched to great enthusiasm in 2015 and the 47th annual primary track and field in May.
