There was an almost carnival atmosphere on Monday last in Donegal town as the 109th infantry Battallion, which has been training at Finner Camp, paraded through Donegal town ahead of their six-month deployment with UN peacekeeping forces in south Lebanon. 59 of the 336 personnel in the unit are from the Finner Camp-based 28th Inantry Battalion.
