Barrscéalta on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta are kicking off a special week of broadcasts in the lead up to the All-Ireland Football Final.

The lineup will include interviews with Donegal star Daire Ó Baoill and, parents of some of the Donegal players. Throughout the week, Barrscéalta’s Michelle Nic Grianna and Damien Ó Dónaill will be looking back at this year’s championship, and memories of 1992, 2012 and 2014 will also be shared.

The special broadcasts will commence on Monday and run until Friday, 25 July, as Donegal prepare to take on Kerry.

Loyal Donegal supporters who are making their way back to Ireland from all corners of the world for the big day will also share their stories, and those from the Donegal diaspora who can’t make it home but who are supporting from afar.  A sporting expert will join the Barrscéalta team in the studio to analyse the game, and some special guests may also perform some newly composed Donegal-themed songs throughout the week.
